About
Dr. Amphon’s research focuses on Gemstones enhancement and identification including thermal treatment and Ion Implantation. In addition to scientific research and teaching, he also serves as membership of Gemstones Institute of China (GIC) Gems Research Group and Certified Specialist of Pearls as One of Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA). Outside of his roles in academia, in his free time, (Dr.) Amphon enjoys adventure traveling, forest restoring and mountain hiking.
